About Joplin For PC

You can actually run Joplin for PC. However, emulator software must first be installed on your Windows/MAC. Before installing the emulator you should review the recommended and minimum system requirements. They can change depending on what version of the emulator is used. We recommend you download the latest version of the emulator. We have listed three Android emulators for free that we liked.

How to Install Joplin for PC

BlueStacks

Minimum

  • Storage: SSD (or Fusion/Hybrid Drives)
  • Internet: Broadband connection to access games, accounts and related content.

Up to date graphics drivers from Microsoft or the chipset vendor.

  • To start with, download Bluestacks from its official website. The latest version of BluesStacks is v 5, and it is around 400 MB.
  • Once you've completed downloading, click on Bluestacks file to install the software on your Windows PC. Follow the on-screen instructions and install it accordingly.
  • Next, launch the emulator by using the desktop shortcut. Sign in with your Google account.
  • Now go to Bluestacks and click the Google Play Store link.
  • Google Play offers a search feature that will allow you to search the term Joplin.
  • Download Joplin via the Play Store. To do this, click the Install option.

NoxPlayer

Minimum
  • Operating System: Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, and DirectX 9.0c
  • Processor: At least dual-core processor, both Intel, and AMD are OK
  • Video: Supports Open GL 2.0 or above
  • Memory: 1.5 GB RAM

  • NoxPlayer can be downloaded from the official website. NoxPlayer 3.0 is available. It is about 600 MB in size.
  • The downloaded setup file will now be used to install the emulator. Follow the screen instructions to install NoxPlayer.
  • After the installation process, launch the Nox Android emulator and log in using your Google account when it asks you.
  • To search Joplin, click on the Google Play Store icon. Once you have found Joplin, click the Install button.
  • Sideload APK (download the .APK file here and then open it with NoxPlayer) if Joplin is not available on Google Play Store.
  • Joplin can be launched from your homescreen. You can immediately start it on your PC

  • MEmuPlay from the official site. NoxPlayer v 7.5 is now available.
  • When the download is finished, install MEmu on your PC. Follow the onscreen instructions, and then click the Next button until you get to the final step.
  • Now, using the desktop shortcut, look for the MEmu Play emulator and launch it. Once the launch is complete, it will ask to log in with Google.
  • MEmu Play will prompt you to log in with your Google account. After you log in, MEmu Play will sync with your Google account. Open the Google Play Store by clicking the icon, and search for Joplin.
  • Once Joplin appears in your search results list, click the Install button. You can also sideload APK from this page (download it here and open with MEmu), to get around the above step.
  • You're now ready to use Joplin on your computer
